You may have heard of the term "Design Patterns". This session is for anyone who is unfamiliar with Design Patterns or who doesn?t understand how knowing about design patterns will make their life easier (it will)

 

We will introduce the concept and a number of examples. Everyone who codes uses Design Patterns whether they know it or not. Understanding the basics of design pattern concepts will take you to a point where you can design much more complex solutions than just puttering around on your own. And since it defines terms for concepts you use, it can make communicating with other programmers much easier as well.

 

This course assumes that you understand OOP concepts and how to write programs. It will be mostly taught using VB.NET but all the examples could be programmed in any OOP language - .NET, C++, Java, Delphi, etc.)
